OnG is quite interesting well except from learning about all types of deliveries.
It's so hard to understand obstretrics that the only thing that I really learned from it is that it sounds easy to make babies but so damn complicated to get the baby out.
All sorts of baby presentations
Position
Head circumferences
And umbilical cord get out of the way! We couldn't afford to have anything happens to you or else the baby won't stand a chance

Nak Kawin
Bismillah.
I guess if I can see colours emanating, I will see pink everywhere right now.
It seems like everyone is matching up, engaging or getting married.
Biggest happiness of 2012 ~my ancient bestfriend is getting hitched.
Though I cannot be there, my years of distance from many things has seasoned me.
I believe if I can't make it to their reeption, Allah sure will permit my prayer for them through the 7 skies.
"O my Lord, I ask for You to bless their marriage. Bestow them with children that obey You and obey them. Blessed their marriage and let them enter Jannah together. And bless me Allah, and let me enter Jannah and most of all, let us die with our faith in You living eternally.ameen."
If I remember it correctly, we started to be in the same class when we enter 4th year in elementary. Things couldn't be better when she moved into the barrack next to my village house. Now there are 3 of us ~Ima, Syikin and me.
We would cycle to and from school everyday.
She on her mountain bike, me on my blue cruiser.
We'd discuss about anything those concern our lives during that time.
What I remember the most is our discussion about where to study for high school.
She's the one who told me about MRSM, but I was still holding to SBP.
And we both had the experience being chased by a crazy old man that took a liking to flashing his pack to the school kids.
We were competitive in class. She's good at running and coloring.
We'd practise netball together.
And at home, I would always go into barrack to play roundes.
We both loves running and in elementary, we ran cross country through the Chinese cemetery, across the quarters of PBA and back into school.
Once, a boy took a liking to both of us, of which we really were icky about it. We were kids and there's no room for love in our dictionary.
One of our science project called for us to make pickled fruits. I remember we brought the cut up papayas and mangoes to school.
Her sister would always go to the fence and called out "Nolina" No 1 harkat, li 2 harkat na 6 harkat.
She's the one who taught me how to make fritters.
It was of flour, bits of salt, egg and chives.
Once, me, Ima and Syikin was doing our school project. Something to do with traditional wedding. we were cutting magazines when an almost drowned kids came into the compound. shortly after, a body was brought over. To be witnessing such a young girl lifeless in front of us.
When her mother gave birth t the youngest kid, she was honoured to give the name.
We went to Perpustakaan Desa and pored over books finding the nice ones out.
I remember that the requirement is that the name shall start with A. Aina was among the choices and the girl was named Athirah.
When UPSR result came out, we both rejoiced for we both were the ones who scored straght A's but mine was shortlived after I found out I got 2 for science practical.
I was overjoyed when I found out that we both got the offer to SMSTSSS.
It really makes up for the fact that my family is moving in November 2001. Moving means not seeing her anymore but going to the same school means 5 years more with her. =)
Syikin has always been the soft one and me the tough cookie. I guess with my ego, we got spaced apart since we were in form 2.
We registered for 1st intake.
Went through highs and lows of orientation weeks, which actually mostly is consisted of lows.
We went to find for canteen after registration only to be lost in the boys blocks.
Since all juniors must greet seniors, we greet ALL seniors, girls and BOYS. Got warning afterwards.pfft.
However, it seems like beginning of high school is beginning of our distance.
We are in different dorm, although actually she's just next to mine.
While I was in 1 Sarjana, she's in 1 Intelek, which is also next to my class.
As for houseroom, she's Delima, the victorious house, while I was in Zamrud, the underdog house.
Adapting to high school is so hard that I was always crying and scared and at the same time forgot, that I can always run to her. Things were just so confusing during my first yer of high school.
My bestfriend during that year is a fellow dormmate. I never know how did she cope the first year. Gotta ask ey!
As fate unrolls itself, my bestfriend left me because I was too busy with band.
And became bestfriend with Syikin.
Syikin and I don't do meals together.
I walked with others to school.
Eventhough my highschool days are coloured brightly by the people around me, Syikin is always in the picture, not bold, but there. and for that, thank you Allah.
If there's one thing that brings us together, it's track and field team.
I never realised it back then, of which now I do. Our friendship clung on to our running practises during those years. I am really glad for that. we would be running like the old days, like we have never been spaced apart.
When we were finally put together in 4 Bestari, she's already comfortable with my ex bestfriend and me with my bunch of gregarious friends.
It's not until form 5 that we sit next to each other.
All the while, I had hints that she's in courtship but I never take it seriously. I am sorry that I was not there for her during high school. Not for her love matters but for the tough moments as a boarders. Everyone that has gone through residential school should have an inkling of what I am talking about.
Now that I think of it, I should have taken a picture with her during the annual dinner and during graduation night.
The one who hold my hand when I was crying during the result anouncemenet is not her.I am not sure if she was in the hall. Like elementary, we graduated from the same class in high school. But we were not the same as we were in elementary.
I didn't know that she went to Canada until I saw her picture.
We got closer after she was infected with TB before the end of her course there.
That summer, she came into my house in Bayan Lepas for the first time. My mom treated her like the good old days. It felt like I found my bestfriend back because she slept over and we just talk about our high school days, her le man and my days abroad deep into the night.
I didn't have a chance to see her this summer, but she made a phone call (or was it me returning her call?idk.doesn't matter which one), a lengthy one. She broke the news that we know is coming. She's getting married.
My silly response ~ did u manage to give your parents RM500 each every month then? ~ hehehehe.because the requirement for her to get married is that.
I am so very happy for you Syikin. so very happy.
Although I said that I will try my best to be there, circumstances wont allow it. I will send you my prayers and may He grant my prayers, ukhti.
I hope you will forever be my ancient bestfriend.
How about me you ask?
Of course I want to get married.
Just don't push me for it, if you are not paying for it AND if you are not going to be there when things get tough for me.
For now, I have no idea who I will be married to and when is that going to happen.hihihi

Paediatrics
I was recently rounding in paediatrics dept. The conclusion shall be
* I finally know how to hold infant. Slip ur hand under the arm to the back of the head.you'll support both the head and neck this way. You other hand slip in between the legs so that you thumb is placed on the inguinal and your other fingers rounding the back part
* baby's poop is super smelly. Which brings me to discover that I still lack the skill to clean it.
* worse is I don't even know how to tape the disposable napkin together. Unthinkable, I know. You should've seen the horror on my face during that time.
* give me infants or talking kids ONLY
